Team Canada Coaching Staff - Robert Ratcliffe

Robert Ratcliffe joined Golf Canada as Assistant Women’s Coach to the Team Canada Program in 2007.

From his original home in South Africa,where Robert discovered a love for the game, his career took him to England where he earned his British PGA qualifications studying under European Tour Coach Mark Gregson-Walters. During this time, Robert also spent several years playing on various professional tours, most notably the European MasterCard Tour.

In 2001, Robert moved to Canada and joined the Canadian PGA.

He was the provincial coach for the Alberta Golf Association and the University of Alberta Golf Team from 2004- 2006. He is now the Director of Instruction at the Crown Isle Resort in Courtenay, B.C. where he offers a wide variety of instructional programs and services.
