2007 CN Canadian Women’s Open earn Top Marketing HonoursThe success of the 2007 CN Canadian Women’s Open both on and off the golf course was recognized at the 2007 season-ending meetings involving LPGA Tour tournaments. The CN Canadian Women’s Open took home several creative design and marketing awards as voted on by the Tournament Owners Association of the LPGA Tour. |
A record $505,000 was raised through the CN Miracle Match in support of the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation. An official announcement was held on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at the Royal Mayfair Golf Club. (L-R) Dianne Young, President and CEO, Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, Josh Hui – honourary ambassador, Stollery Children’s Hospital and James M. Foote, CN Executive Vice-President, Sales and Marketing. A portion of the net proceeds from 2007 championship further increased the donation to a total of $546,682 (CDN).
