Exemptions:
The Champion of this event is awarded an exemption into the 2008 CN Canadian Women’s Open. Order of Merit points earned at this championship go towards earning one of two exemptions that are awarded to the top two competitors, not otherwise exempt, on the 2008 CN Canadian Women’s Tour Order of Merit following the conclusion of play at Camelot Golf & Country Club. In order to be eligible for the Order of Merit exemptions, a competitor must compete in at least two of the events on the 2008 schedule.
Host Hotel!
Twenty-three rooms have been blocked on the night of Saturday July 12th. Thirty rooms have been blocked on Sunday July 13th and Monday July 14th, 2008 at the Chimo Hotel. The hotel is 15 minutes from Camelot Golf & Country Club and offers a wide array of services. Double and single rooms are available for $115/night. The rooms are blocked under the ‘CN Women’s Tour’ reservation code until June 9th, 2008 so make your reservations early at 613-744-1060.

Registration:
Camelot Golf & Country Club, Sunday, July 13th, between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Players who do not register at this time, without informing tournament officials prior to such time, are subject to disqualification and further disciplinary action. If you cannot register on Sunday afternoon, simply contact the RCGA to confirm your attendance at the championship and arrangements will be made for you to register on Monday. The RCGA can be notified by contacting Alison Turcotte at 1-800-263-0009 ext. 250.
Practice Rounds:
To reserve your tee time, contact the Pro Shop at (613) 833-0799 no later than Sunday July 6th and identify yourself as a participant in this championship. Practice rounds are also available in the weeks preceding the championship however times are subject to availability. Competitors are entitled to one complimentary practice round only.
Special Event:
Thirty-nine guests of CN, the host club and the media will be invited to the Sunday afternoon Clinic and a 9-hole Shotgun Scramble on the championship course, hosted by thirteen Tour professionals on Sunday June 1st. An informal dinner reception will follow play. Starting Times:
Starting times for the first round will be made available at registration. Tee times will also be available at www.cncanadianwomenstour.com, in the golf shop and at the RCGA Tournament Office after registration. Final round starting times will be based on the competitors’ score from the previous round and will be available shortly after play at www.cncanadianwomenstour.com, in the golf shop and at the host hotel.
Caddies:
A limited number of caddies will be available through the host facility. Contact: Gerry Girey, mach1golfer@gmail.com or by phone at (613) 295-6163. Fee - $40.00 per day.
Dress code:
Soft-spiked golf shoes are mandatory.
Code of Conduct: All participants are expected to abide by the CN Canadian Women’s Tour Code of Conduct. Violations of the Code of Conduct will be dealt with based on the severity of the misconduct. The Code of Conduct is available at www.cncanadianwomenstour.com and will be supplied to each participant at registration.
Notice of Withdrawal:
All accepted individuals are expected to participate. If you find
you cannot compete in the championship, you must officially withdraw from
the event. Entry fees will be refunded, less a $50 administrative fee, if
the RCGA is notified (1-800-263-0009 ext. 250) of a player’s intention
to withdraw prior to the application deadline. Entry fees will not be refunded
after the application deadline without a medical certificate. Competitors
who withdraw from a championship without notifying the RCGA are subject
to disqualification and disciplinary action.
