Miracle Match - KidsCN is very proud to continue the tradition of giving back to the community to help build safer, stronger communities where its trains operate. Over the last two years close to $1 million dollars has been raised for children’s hospitals via the CN Canadian Women’s Open.

Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario FoundationThe Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) is the charity of choice for the 2008 CN Canadian Women’s Open. CHEO is committed to making a difference in the lives of children, youth and families. CHEO has an established and excellent team of highly qualified personnel, first class treatment, as well as world-renowned research activities to meet the needs of its young patients.

In 2007, the championship, through the CN Miracle Match program, raised $546,682 for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation in Edmonton, Alberta.

Miracle Match - ChequeStollery Children’s Hospital is a centre of excellence in complex, life-saving care for children and it provides health care services to sick and injured children from one of the largest geographic areas in the world. In 2006, $413,000 was raised for the Children’s Hospital of Western Ontario as the beneficiary of the CN Canadian Women’s Open held at London Hunt & Golf Club in London, Ontario. The Children’s Hospital of Western Ontario has the only 24 hour emergency room between Winnipeg and Toronto staffed with over 18 different medical specialties and sub-specialties. Supporting children’s charity is at the heart of the CN Canadian Women’s Open.

Miracle MatchCN Miracle Match is a national charitable initiative designed to rally communities across Canada behind a very worthy cause- Children’s Hospitals. For every donation made during and leading up to the CN Canadian Women’s Open, CN also makes a donation, exponentially increasing the impact of every contribution. These donations are supplemented by a portion of the net proceeds from championship ticket sales, enabling us to provide a substantial contribution to a local children’s hospital.

Together, golf fans, CN, the Royal Canadian Golf Association and the CN Canadian Women’s Open can help create a lasting legacy that will benefit children’s hospitals for many years to come.
