WHAT IS THE PUBLIC PLAYER PROGRAM?The Public Player Program (PPP) is a unique, affordable golf club membership program that is open to individuals, groups, golf course facilities and large organizations across Canada. The program has been designed in conjunction with all participating provincial golf associations across Canada in an effort to promote and increase participation in golf throughout Canada. This initiative will allow golfers to become full, card carrying members of the RCGA and their corresponding provincial golf association at a very affordable cost.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Via the internet, golfers will join “virtual golf clubs” that will allow them to communicate with other members, organize and promote club events and tournaments, search golf course directories, track person golf statistics and handicaps and sign-up to the RCGA’s newsletter, e-Golf Canada. The clubs will set up and communicate through the RCGA Network, Canada’s only web-based real-time handicapping and communication service that is exclusive to RCGA members.
